The Breakers have overcome injury struggles to pull off a stunning upset of the Sydney Kings in their play-in qualifier to remain alive in the Australian basketball league

Led by 34 points to Parker Jackson-Cartwright, the Breakers have eliminated the defending champions 83-76.

Will McDowell-White was a game-time decision to play after a shoulder injury, centre Zylan Cheatham hobbled through after an ankle injury in the first half and fellow import Anthony Lamb was already gone for the rest of the season.

Coach Mody Maor is admiring his team's performance.

And they play Illawarra in another eliminator Monday night for a spot in the semis against Melbourne United.
