The extension of a Black Caps test series across the ditch is being hailed as a sign that Cricket Australia want to play New Zealand as much as possible

A series scheduled for the 2026-27 summer has doubled from two games to four - including another Boxing Day test in Melbourne.

NZC chief executive Scott Weenink says he was in Melbourne meeting with their Australia counterparts earlier this month.

As well as Melbourne - matches will be played in Perth, Adelaide and Sydney.
