The international cricket innings is over for New Zealand white-ball batting great Martin Guptill

The international cricket innings is over for New Zealand white-ball batting great Martin Guptill

The 38-year-old has officially retired from the top level but will keep playing T20s around the world when recruited.

He last played the last of his 367 Black Caps matches across all formats in October 2022 but believes the original decision to drop him was premature.

Guptill's currently plying his trade with Auckland in the Super Smash, but has plans to coach by completing a couple of qualification courses.
