New Zealand have clinched the three-match one-day international cricket series over the West Indies 2-nil with a game to spare, after securing a five-wicket victory in the second fixture at Napier

The visitors posted 247 for nine after rain reduced the contest to 34 overs - Shai Hope top-scored with 109 off 69 balls and Nathan Smith returned figures of four for 42.

In reply, Devon Conway and Rachin Ravindra laid a platform for the hosts with an opening stand of 106.

Conway top-scored with 90 off 84 balls as the Black Caps completed the chase with three deliveries left.

The victory cements New Zealand's 11th consecutive ODI series win at home.
