    The women's Black Sticks and China are underway in their Olympic hockey pool match in Tokyo


    A win for New Zealand will all but secure their spot in the knockout stage.

    The Black Sticks have taken the lead 1-nil through Ella Gunson in the second quarter.



    The New Zealand mixed triathlon team has finished a lowly 12th of 16 teams in the relay at the Olympics today.

    Despite sitting a promising eighth out of the water after the first leg, New Zealand fell to 15th soon after and failed to make up signifcant ground.



    Ryan Fox is struggling down the order after two rounds at the Olympic men's golf tournament.

    He's in a tie for 47th, 11 shots off the pace after a one over par second round.

    Fox's third round tees off at 1:45.



    Tim Price's first run on day two of the three-day eventing dressage on Vitali is set for 1:38.
