    Victory for the Black Sticks women's hockey team in their opening test of the year against the USA in Auckland


    A late fourth-quarter goal to Holly Pearson saw the home side snatch a 1-nil win, on TVNZ.

    The teams return to the Lloyd Elsmore venue for the second test tomorrow afternoon.
