All Blacks prop Tyrel Lomax remains sidelined in a worry for the top seeded Hurricanes as they begin their playoff charge in Super Rugby

Lomax has been sidelined for a month with bone bruising to his ankle and again hasn't been included for the quarter-final against the Melbourne Rebels on Saturday in Wellington.

Usual skipper Brad Shields makes his return via the bench for the 'Canes after a quad injury, while Jordie Barrett captains the hosts.



Rieko Ioane returns from a hand injury to the Blues' run on side for their quarterfinal against the Fijian Drua.



Tupou Vaa'i, Anton Lienert-Brown, Emoni Narawa and Shaun Stevenson all bolster the Chiefs team to entertain the Reds on Friday night.



The Highlanders are back to full strength for their visit to the Brumbies after resting or restricting the minutes of several players in the loss to the Hurricanes.
