No question how important tomorrow's Bledisloe Cup series opener against Australia is for the All Blacks stand-in skipper

No question how important tomorrow's Bledisloe Cup series opener against Australia is for the All Blacks stand-in skipper

Ardie Savea admits the Wallabies pose a serious threat to not only their 51-test undefeated run at Eden Park ... but also to their quest to retain the Cup for a 23rd straight year.

The Wallabies last won at Eden Park way back in 1986.

Meanwhile, the Auckland weather may not play ball in the late afternoon kickoff, in what is the penultimate Rugby Championship match for both teams.

Squally thunderstorms are forecast, along with gusty northwesterlies.
