Silver Ferns hall-of-famer Casey Kopua is coming out of retirement for a second time - six years after her last competitive outing

The 39-year-old former national captain has agreed to play for Aussie Super Netball side the Greater Western Sydney Giants, against the Melbourne Vixens on Sunday.

The Giants - coached by Kopua's former domestic coach Julie Fitzgerald - have lost defender Jodi-Ann Ward for the season with an ACL injury.

Kopua's last competitive game was the 2019 World Cup final victory in Liverpool ... she came out of retirement in the lead-up to that tournament.
