More points - and more proof that Liam Lawson can foot it with veterans of the Formula One paddock

More points - and more proof that Liam Lawson can foot it with veterans of the Formula One paddock

The New Zealander's picked up two points for a ninth-place effort in a wet and wild Brazilian Grand Prix.

Lawson fended off a prolonged challenge from Sergio Perez - the driver he's bidding to replace at Red Bull Racing - and then spent the last 12 laps keeping seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton at bay.

Max Verstappen used his pace and the chaotic nature of the race to charge from 17th on the grid to break a 10-round victory drought.
