New Zealand's top snow sports athletes are set for a new training facility, thanks to the taxpayer

New Zealand's top snow sports athletes are set for a new training facility, thanks to the taxpayer

The government's covid-19 recovery package has seen $400,000 granted towards a new complex at Cardrona, which will feature a permanent halfpipe.

High performance director Nic Cavanagh says it's critical to their campaigns for pinnacle events.

Cavanagh hopes the training facility will be ready by next month.
