    Darwin Nunez has scored twice in stoppage time to earn Liverpool an important 2-0 win at Brentford that strengthens their push for another Premier League title


    Nunez was derided by Brentford's fans after going on as a substitute in the 65th minute, but responded by scoring twice to secure Liverpool's first victory in three league games.

    Reds manager Arne Slot is adamant the Uruguayan striker deserves more respect.



    The Reds had 37 shots on goal...and scored with their final two.

    Arsenal has let a two-goal lead slip to draw 2-all with Aston Villa... the second-placed Gunners are now six points adrift of Liverpool.
