Corban Piper is staying at the Phoenix for the next two A-League football seasons

The Wellington club have announced that the versatile defender - who has played most outfield positions in his first campaign as a professional - has signed a contract extension until the end of the 2026-27 season.

22-year-old Piper has scored three times in 21 appearances - making him the team's second highest goal scorer behind Kosta Barbarouses.
