Three men charged with wilfully obstructing or perverting the course of justice in the wrongful conviction of Alan Hall nearly 40 years ago - have appeared in the High Court at Auckland

They've entered not guilty pleas and a trial's been set for February 2026.
The charges relate to the investigation and prosecution of Hall in the 1980s.
His wrongful conviction for the murder of Arthur Easton in the 1980s was only overturned after he'd spent 19 years in jail.
Police are offering a 100-thousand dollar reward for information leading to a conviction.
