Will Jordan's relishing the chance to step up as a leader for the Crusaders in Super Rugby Pacific

The 41-test All Black has been the on-field captain in the second half of the Crusaders' most recent wins over the Hurricanes and the Fijian Drua.

He was in the thick of it late in Wellington - deep in conversation with referee James Doleman after two players were yellow-carded for repeat infringements.

Jordan says both he and David Havili have enjoyed the added responsibility.

Havili's overcome an Achilles tendon issue to lead the Crusaders tonight against the Blues in Christchurch.
