    The death of a 6-month-old found with critical injuries in the Manawatu-Whanganui region last Sunday is now the subject of a homicide investigation


    The baby was found at a Foxton Beach property.

    The baby had been airlifted to Starship Hospital in Auckland from the Seabury Avenue address.

    Police are now trying to figure out when and how the injuries happened and have spoken with a number of people.
