Police are investigating Renee Whitcher's death in Cheviot , after first being notified on Wednesday afternoon.

Cheviot Area School Board member, Fiona Bush, called Whitcher a warm and conscientious woman, in a message to parents.

Principal Roger Hornblow says counsellors will be on site today for any students or adults who need to talk.
