Meghan Trainor is feeling "overworked and stressed" as a mother of two

The 31-year-old pop star - who is married to 'Spy Kids' actor Daryl Sabara and has Riley, four, and 22-month-old Barry with him - had to seek medical attention over a bout of recent illness and is set to undergo a multitude of tests but put it all down to the strain that comes with being a working parent

Speaking on her 'Workin' On It' podcast, she said: "I saw two doctors today, I saw a doctor for health and wellness and stress so we're gonna start working together.

"I'm gonna do all those tests again - test my poop, test my breath, test my blood to see my how my hormones are doing.

"And then she's gonna help me with stress in general. She thinks my cortisol is shot, she knows it and it's gonna help me not get sick ever again because that's the goal.

    "I'm overworked and I'm stressed. And I'm a mother-of-two!"

The 'All About That Bass' hitmaker has also been visiting a chiropractor in recent weeks and was initially "so scared" to have her neck cracked, but has now embraced the treatment and is trying to work on her health in general.

She added: "The combo last week, finally got me. Got me down. And then we saw a chiropractor, Dr. Heidi. And she was incredible.

"And I finally let her, for the first time after three sessions, crack my neck. I was so scared but it felt so good. I was like 'Oh, I get it'. There were so many cracks to be cracked, but it looked so scary.

"I saw one girl die [on TikTok] and I was lie 'I can't do it...' but now I'm like 'Break me!' So, I'm working on my health and trying to be the best that I can be."
