    Fire crews in Christchurch are working to extinguish a fire burning through two homes in Lyttelton this evening


    Emergency services began evacuating nearby residents around 5.15pm after being called to the Brittan Terrace blaze.

    Fire and Emergency NZ say a third home has also been affected.
