A local State of Emergency remains in force for Marlborough, Nelson and Tasman.
Parts of State Highway 6 and 63, have been closed to all traffic since Friday.
Nelson-Tasman Civil Defence spokesperson Paul Shattock says both local and NZTA crews are repairing roads today.
He says there's been significant damage around the roads, so there's areas which are still cut off - but they're trying to fix them as quickly as possible.
