Jordan will start at fullback on Saturday in Wellington, with Caleb Clarke coming in on the left wing and Rieko Ioane on the right wing vacated by the injured Sevu Reece.
Coach Scott Robertson says moving Jordan to the flank and starting Damian McKenzie at fullback wasn't a consideration.
Tupou Vaa'i gets another week at blindside flanker, but is prepared to move into the second row as required.
