    Kiwi Ryan Wood and his co-driver Jayden Ojeda are well in the hunt after the halfway mark of the Bathurst 1000


    The pair are sitting in first spot, with rain setting in around the Mount Panorama track.

    There's been heartbreak for two-time race winner Chaz Mostert who was forced to retire for the first time due to engine failure.

    Mostert spent little time dwelling on his misfortune, swiftly jumping out of his car, over the fence and accepting the offer of a beer from punters
