The public is being asked for sightings of a man possibly involved in a homicide, in a town near Palmerston North

Investigations are ongoing after a woman was found dead in a Pahiatua property about 4.30pm yesterday.

Police say they are seeking reports of suspicious activity by a man of solid build, and aged between 40 and 50-years-old.

They say he may have been in the Tarawera Road area from October 15, and shouldn't be approached.

It follows police locating a vehicle taken from the victim's address.
