    Palmerston North Hospital has received thousands in donations towards a surgical robot


    Fundraising began this week - one private donation alone reaching six figures.

    Many people in the area have to travel for robot procedures.

    Spokesperson Shivarn Stewart says so many patients will benefit - especially because of the variety of surgeries it offers.
