    Two men have been arrested in Auckland overnight - after a Mount Albert resident was disturbed by an eerie encounter


    Police say the man called just before 11pm.

    He reported hearing a floorboard creaking in his property, then seeing the outline of man in the darkness - who fled.

    The Police helicopter and a dog unit managed to track down two men.

    A 45 year old was arrested - accused of breaching bail - and a 30 year-old's been charged with burglary.
