Our newsroom's revealed police believe they now have enough evidence to file manslaughter charges.
It's been 15 years since 29 men failed to return from work at the mine - their bodies never recovered.
Families' lawyer Nigel Hampton KC says police investigations ramped up, after re-entering the mine.
He says they've gained further evidence about some specific acts of negligence, which can be linked directly to the explosion and deaths - equalling 29 manslaughter charges.
