A student who allegedly attacked teachers with scissors - has been suspended from Christchuch's Haeata Community Campus

Principal Peggy Burrows says they're investigating yesterday's events.

She says the student's required to attend a Board suspension meeting next week - and won't attend school in the meantime.

The two staff members remain at home on Board-funded paid leave - until they feel able to return.

Police are also investigating.
