Liam Lawson has been given a slight boost before today's sprint race at Formula One's Chinese Grand Prix

Liam Lawson has been given a slight boost before today's sprint race at Formula One's Chinese Grand Prix

After qualifying in last place, the Kiwi will start 19th on the grid after Nico Hulkenberg made changes to his suspension set-up, and was forced to begin from pit lane.

Red Bull junior team stablemate Isack Hadjar is also under investigation for a practice start infringement, and could also be hit with a penalty that would further help the Kiwi.

The 19-lap sprint race got under way a short time ago.
