The party's faced weeks of turmoil and infighting, culminating in Party President John Tamihere calling for the resignation of MPs Mariameno Kapa-Kingi and Takuta Ferris.
The party's leadership has agreed to a meeting at a Wellington marae to work through the issues with its MPs, following a hui with the National Iwi Chairs Forum.
Ngati Kahungunu Chair and Forum Spokesperson Bayden Barber says they don't want to see the party split.
He says they want a unified party that's functional and focused on the upcoming election.
