MetService has heavy rain warnings in place for Coromandel Peninsula and Tairawhiti

I applies for Coromandel until 1am tomorrow - and until 8am in Tairawhiti.

An earlier heavy rain warning for Northland is no longer in force.

There are also scatted power outages throughout the North Island, Paeroa is currently worst affected - where almost 700 properties have no power.
