Bay of Plenty Police are on the hunt for the occupants of a vehicle that rammed multiple cars -- and a person -- before fleeing

Officers were called to Opotiki's Church and Kelly Street intersection, just after 11 last night.

A number of people were also seen engaged in a disorder around a bar at the intersection, although there were no significant injuries.

Police followed the vehicle responsible for the ramming to Hikuwai Reserve, before its occupants fled on foot.

An investigation's underway to identify and locate all involved. 12-28-24 1132
