Josh Duhamel is feeling younger than ever

The 52-year-old star says "things are probably better than they've ever been" as he focuses on raising his two children with his acting work

Josh - who has sons Axl, 11, with his ex-wife Fergie and Shepherd, 13 months, with his current spouse Audra Mari - told Us Weekly: "I gotta say, things are, things are probably better than they've ever been.

"(I've got) two healthy boys, brand new, one-year-old. (I've) got an amazing 11-year-old. (I'm) married working. You know, everything is good."

The 'Transformers' actor explained that he is "trying to stay as young and youthful as I can" in order to "work as long as possible" and "chase my one-year-old".

Josh added: "That's as much of a reason behind this whole thing as anything is to stay as vibrant as I can for as long as I can for them."

The star revealed that his eldest son is focused on becoming a professional soccer star rather than following his parents into either acting or singing.

Duhamel said: "These days, we've got a giant imagination. No thoughts of being an actor. He's got an amazing singing voice, but he'd rather just play soccer. He wants to be a professional soccer player, he went from superheroes and Spider-Man costumes to an obsession with soccer overnight."

Josh also revealed that he and Audra had to make their home child-friendly as Shepherd began walking a lot sooner than they expected.

The 'New Year's Eve' actor said: "He started walking around nine months earlier than we expected him to, so we had to do a crash course in home safety just to make sure the place was child-driven. That was one of the things we really had to focus on."
