Taylor Swift changed Kelsea Ballerini's life

The 31-year-old country pop superstar has always looked up to Taylor, 35, and she revealed that her idol tweeting about her 2015 song 'Love Me Like You Mean It' was a huge boost to her career

Kelsea told Us Weekly: "I think a big reason why things have worked progressively like they have is because of the women that have, not only given me advice in passing, but the women that have taken the time to stop and turn around and reach out their hand and either share their stage with me, and other newer artists,"

"It's been a part of my journey, and it started with Taylor. When she tweeted about 'Love Me Like You Mean It,' before it went Top 40 at radio, it changed my life."

After Taylor posted about the song, the pair went on to perform the track on Taylor's 'The 1989 World Tour' stop in Nashville, Tennessee in 2015.

Sharing the best advice Taylor gave her, Kelsea previously told NBC's 'Sunday Today With Willie Geist': "She was like, 'You have to become undeniable. Whatever that means to you, whatever that looks like for you. Then no one can tell you no, because what is no? You just, you pivot. Pivot, you know?'"
