    A man's allegedly robbed a Whanganui jewellery store while wielding a hammer at about one this afternoon


    Police say he entered the Victoria Avenue premises, smashing several cabinets before taking a number of items then fleeing in a vehicle.

    No one was injured.

    Police are seeking witnesses, and phone or dashcam footage.
