Miss Piggy won't be "fighting the charges" after getting 'arrested' for being too hot

The Muppets diva has insisted she wasn't surprised when Sabrina Carpenter - who will be guest hosting Disney+'s revival of The Muppet Show on February 4 - singled her out in a fun segment during the final shot of her Short n' Sweet Tour in November 2024.

Piggy told ToughPigs: "It's happened before. But yes, in fact I was a VIP guest at Sabrina's concert.

"And the '10 count' for being too hot is still on my record, but I won't be fighting the changes. I mean, look at me!"

The interviewer and Piggy both suggested Kermit The Frog should be telling her how good looking she is.

He quipped: "I do, all the time, I'm contractually obligated to do so."

Sabrina will be performing alongside Jim Henson's wild and loveable creations in a one-off special this week, which is being treated as a pilot for a potential full return of The Muppet Show.

Seth Rogen is part of the cast and on board as producer, but Kermit doesn't think the Golden Globe winner used The Studio as inspiration for the programme.

He said: "I don't think that we quite do the same thing that Seth does on The Studio!

"But, because Seth's such a big fan of The Muppets, he wanted to make sure that we all did everything we could to make it a really, really great special."

Piggy insisted: "He just really wanted to work with moi, that's basically what happened."

Meanwhile, the stars were out this week as Seth Rogen, Kermit and Piggy were joined by the likes of Gonzo, Fozzie Bear, Rowlf the Dog, Danny Trejo and Anna Kendrick for a premiere in Los Angeles.

The synopsis for the special reads: "Kermit, Miss Piggy and the beloved Muppets ensemble are back with a brand-new special event. "Music, comedy, and a whole lot of chaos are bound to ensue when The Muppets once again take the stage of the original Muppet Theatre with their very special guest, Sabrina Carpenter!"
