David Seymour says today's inflation numbers are a glimmer of hope after a grim few years

David Seymour says today's inflation numbers are a glimmer of hope after a grim few years

Latest Stats NZ figures show the Consumer Price Index rose 3.3 percent in the year to June, down from four-percent annually to March.

Seymour says it's good news we're getting closer to the one-to-three-percent Reserve Bank target.

He says the Government has led by example and its spending cuts have filtered through the economy.
