    A person has died in a jet boat incident in Wairarapa yesterday afternoon


    Emergency services were called to Lees Pakaraka Road in Te Ore Ore at about 4:20 to reports of a passenger being unresponsive on the Ruamahanga River.

    A man in his 20s died at the scene.

    Police is investigating on behalf of the Coroner and Maritime New Zealand has also been notified.
