No surprises over falling home values in Auckland Council valuations released today

No surprises over falling home values in Auckland Council valuations released today

They're down an average nine percent from 2021 CVs.

The Council says more than 12-thousand users accessed its website today.

Analytics Company Cotality's Kelvin Davidson says it's important to remember the valuations are based on property sales and data from May last year.

He says 2021 was a peak - and mid 2024 was a trough, so he'd be pretty surprised if values rose in these CV figures.
