    Warriors Women skipper Apii Nicholls has explained how having so many rugby union players is improving their hopes in the NRLW

    The squad features several cross-code stars, including sevens Olympic champion Michaela Brake, while Nicholls herself played two seasons for the Chiefs Manawa in Super Rugby Aupiki .

    Nicholls has told The Big League Podcast it's no drama that more than half the team have never played league before.
