Tom Phillips and his three children have been sighted together for the first time since they went missing nearly three years ago

Police have confirmed the group was spotted by pig hunters in the Marokopa area on Thursday night.

Jayda, Maverick and Ember and their father have been missing since December 2021.

Police and air support - including an Air Force helicopter - were sent to the area, but found nothing of significance.

Detective Inspector Andrew Saunders says this is positive information, and it will be reassuring for the children's wider family.

He says they'll now assess next steps.
