    Napier Police are asking for any information - after an alleged assault in broad daylight leaving a person seriously injured


    A white vehicle drove into a person about 3pm on Monday - at the intersection of Latham Street and Bedford Road.

    The victim fell to the ground and was assaulted further.

    They're now stable in hospital.
