    The Hurricanes' depth at first-five continues to be tested after a knee injury to Lucas Cashmore in training


    The Bay of Plenty product has sustained a non-contact MCL tear and is set to miss the next six to ten weeks.

    It comes with Ruben Love out til round five of Super Rugby Pacific and Brett Cameron gone for the season.

    Assistant coach Jamie Mackintosh says Riley Hohepa and Harry Godfrey are their other options, but might be forced elsewhere.



    The Hurricanes play the Blues in preseason on Friday in Wainuiomata.
