A fresh appeal for information in the case of a 25-year-old mother of four, who has been missing for seven years

A fresh appeal for information in the case of a 25-year-old mother of four, who has been missing for seven years

Leonie Emery went missing in 2018 but was only reported missing in 2019.

Her family was used to regular periods of non-contact.

She was last seen in Papakura between late January and early Feburary, after a period of increased alcohol use and dangerous behaviour in Waikato's Ngaruawahia.

Detective Senior Sergeant Rob Hunkin told TVNZ's Cold Case that finding out about her trip to Papakura is essential.

He says they would love to speak to the person who drove her there.
