    Married one weekend, becoming a New Zealand golf Open champion the next for Daniel Hillier


    The Kiwi has claimed victory in the national open in Queenstown by two-strokes.

    He's beaten out Australian Lucas Herbert in a trans-Tasman tussle for the title.

    Hillier has told Sky Sport it's the second best day of his life - after his wedding last weekend .



    Michael Hendry was the last New Zealander to win in 2017.
