One of the tallest basketballers ever has had his first practice with his new team, the New Zealand Breakers, in Utah

Tacko Fall, a former centre for the Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers, is 2.29 metres tall - that's seven feet six inches in the old measurements.

Fall has joined the Breakers for pre-season games against NBA sides the Utah Jazz, the Philadelphia 76ers and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The 28-year-old from Senegal says he can't wait.

At this stage he's only confirmed for those three games.
