The Wellington Blaze are ruing slow starts with bat and ball in a seven wicket defeat to Otago in the women's T20 Super Smash in Dunedin

The Blaze set Otago 121 to win, led by 38 to Sophie Devine.
The Sparks run-chase was set up by a 77-run opening stand and Wellington captain Melie Kerr has told TVNZ they didn't turn the screws enough.
Otago lead the competition by 10 points on 24 with two round robin games left, but have played three more games than the second placed Northern Brave.
The Wellington men's side are batting first against Otago in the second game.
