Kiwi golfer Dame Lydia Ko is set to make the cut at the year's first women's golf major in Texas

Kiwi golfer Dame Lydia Ko is set to make the cut at the year's first women's golf major in Texas

But that won't be confirmed until tomorrow now, with play suspended after fog delayed the start of play at the Chevron Championship.

There are still nine players who couldn't finish their second rounds because of darkness.

Ko's on one-over-par, with the projected cut line at two-over.

She's in good company in likely scraping into the weekend ... defending champion, American Nelly Korda, is also on one-over.

The leader, China's Yan Liu, is on seven-under, leading by one shot.
