Construction begins this week on a new pair of speed cameras in Auckland's Dairy Flat

Construction begins this week on a new pair of speed cameras in Auckland's Dairy Flat

The Transport Agency says it found 74 percent of drivers were speeding along the stretch of Pine Valley Road in June.

Spokesman Steve Mutton says the cameras will significantly reduce the number of people travelling over the speed limit.

One camera will be installed near the Kahikatea Flat Road intersection and the other near the Pine Valley Road roundabout.
