Leighton Meester has praised Bubble Skincare's "inclusive approach to different ages and skin types"

The 39-year-old actress - who is best known for playing Blair Waldorf on Gossip Girl - has just been named the first global brand ambassador for the popular beauty brand and swears by their products

She told WWD: "Their company mission is beyond the product itself. There are a lot of products out there that you can try to find that maybe work or don't, but they're bringing a joyful, loving and inclusive approach to different ages and skin types.

"The team and the people who are creating and formulating the products - their heart is in it."

Meester - whose favourite products include the Plus One SPF, Soft Launch cleanser and Cosmic Silk toner - has to be careful about what products she uses as she has sensitive skin.

She said: "My skin is sensitive, so I need to be careful about what I do and how I switch it up.

"It's evolved to where I'm very caring, gentle and kind to myself both inside and out."

Shai Eisenman, the founder and chief ex ecutive officer of Bubble, shared how many of their customers are fans of teen drama Gossip Girl, which aired between 2007 and 2012, so Meester was the perfect match for the role.

She said: "She has as many people who loved her 20 years ago as that love her today.

"We also still hear from our community their favourite show to rewatch is Gossip Girl. We felt she's, on the one hand, so kind and lovely, but at the same time, is a fashion icon and has great taste."

Bubble has been a huge hit with Gen Z, but Eisenman - who founded the brand in 2020 - insisted : "People think of the brand as youthful because of the packaging, but we want to tell the story of joy."
