Jeremy Allen White spends his free time "fantasising" about real estate

The 34-year-old actor has revealed when he gets downtime in between filming, he's obsessed with scrolling through properties he has no plans to buy.

Speaking on the Smartless podcast about he he manages to "completely decompress", he said: "I'm obsessed with reality real estate shows, and I'm, like, always on my realtor app.

"I don't buy anything, but I like to fantasise... I send listings to friends, and they're like, 'Just buy it then!' "

Jeremy admitted he often finds himself on his travels for work or even on a road trip, and he ends up on apps trying to see what houses are available as he imagines an alternate life.

He added: "What if I got another place here? What if I just, like, would come here all the time?"

He's not alone, as actor Jason Bateman - who co-hosts the podcast with Sean Hayes and Will Arnett - admitted he finds himself doing the same.

He said: "I'm immediately thinking about getting a place there. That's how I could feel like I'm at home there. So I'm not homesick."

Jeremy named Bisbee, Arizona as the "weirdest" place he's thought about moving to, while on a cross country road trip across the United States around a decade ago.

He recalled: "Very small town, but very sweet. We spent the night there at a bed-and-breakfast, got up the next day and was walking around and talking to locals.

"And, everybody I spoke to - like, nobody was from Bisbee."

Instead, people passed through the city, started a business and never left.

Meanwhile, The Beast star recently insisted he is lucky to have found success later in life.

He told Vanity Fair magazine: "I think it's always going to come back to me feeling lucky that I was able to work for a very long time in my late teens and throughout my 20s without having the burden of being a very public person.

"Shameless was a popular TV show, but nobody ever wanted to interview me or anything. And if they did, I would catch myself doing like a Sean Penn impression - or, like, my understanding of Sean Penn. Trying to come off as over it in some way, or tough in some way.

"The Bear has taken me to a different level, but I'm lucky that it's in my early 30s, where I think I feel a bit more settled in myself, and I don't feel like I need to put on any self-serious or troubled attitudes."
